Have you see the City of Cape Canaveral’s new website? The City’s new website represents not just a makeover but increased accessibility for those of all abilities, and features the automation of many Community services that otherwise require time-intensive and costly staff interactions! Future functionality in the works includes such modern amenities as taking permit payments online, submission of digital applications, online recreation class registration and the ability to book park facility rentals… all without a visit to City Hall! This not only makes for happier citizens, it reduces manual back-office administrative tasks and streamlines workflows resulting in a more efficient experience! Stay tuned for these time-saving services!
Take some time to peruse through the many pages of website content and information. On the homepage (www.cityofcapecanaveral.org) you can view all upcoming City events, read the news, access links to the top clicked items on the site and view our Twitter and Instagram feeds. You can sign up for The Weekly Update email and report. We also have a robust search bar at the top of every page (labeled “I NEED TO…”) that functions like a Google search and allows most visitors to quickly find the answers to their questions. Pretty cool! The homepage was designed to allow you to find the most pertinent items without a lot of clicking around!
Other cool website features include alerts to the homepage for SUPER IMPORTANT news or notifications and direct links to watch past City meetings, submit a concern or contact staff! The top navigation bar lets you surf our site by role… Government, Community, Visitor, Business or Inquisitor (How do I). Simply hover over one of these options to see the sub-menus or click on them for more information. Pro tip: click on the City logo on any page to return to the homepage.
